Volvo VN Truck Air Heater Glow Plug Screen Replacement Guide

This instruction show you guide on how to replace air heater glow plug screen for Volvo VN truck.Volvo PTT

Procedures:
1.Remove the access cover.


2.Disconnect the electrical connections by removing the bolt located on the top of the glow plug.
3.Unscrew the glow plug.Volvo VOCOM 88890300
4.Pull the glow plug strainer out of the glow plug socket with a pair of pliers.
5.Check that the hole for the combustion air is not clogged. If it is clogged, clean it using non detergent 100 % volatile carburator cleaner and an air gun.
6.Slide in the glow plug strainer carefully until it stops. Pay careful attention to the position of the lug and the position of the parting joint. The parting joint,or seam, must face away from the Control Unit.
